When a faucet swap makes sense
Calgary homes have hard water — mineral deposits build up inside faucet cartridges over time, causing dripping, reduced flow and handles that are stiff or impossible to close fully. When a faucet starts dripping, the cartridge is worn. Replacing the whole faucet is usually the same price as ordering a proprietary cartridge and often makes more sense, especially if the fixture is more than 8 years old.
The other common call is a kitchen or bathroom upgrade — a homeowner has already purchased a new fixture at Home Depot or online and just needs it installed properly. We handle the swap from start to finish: shut off the water, remove the old unit, install the new one, check all supply line connections and test for leaks before leaving.
